About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Scrum Master/Kanban lead for Legal Services Enablement (LSE) Product

  • Develop Kanban prioritization, team readiness, and ensure committed backlog is delivered.
  • Use data (e.g., Quarterly Team assessments), agile metrics like churn, cycle time velocity etc., CLAR Tech Agile OKRs to help the teams assess Agile Maturity, and support agile modern engineering practices.
  • Oversee teams to deliver capabilities using Agile practices while following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met.
  • Partner with managers to convey their concerns to teams about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards.
  • Collaborate with product owners, dev leaders, team members and applicable team and product area stakeholders, to communicate and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum/Kanban team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Interact with internal customers.
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Meet or Exceeds expectations towards Wells Fargo Scrum master employee goals.
  • Facilitate the scrum and/or Kanban process with cross functional impact that involve moderately complex products or product areas and associated teams
  • Guide the agile teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint (Scrum) or based on frequency of demand (Kanban)
  • Optimize agile team velocity to identify improvement opportunities through, but not limited to, executed quarterly team assessment surveys to achieve higher levels of team performance.
  • Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met.
  • Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
  • Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness.
  • Optimize team velocity, predictability, cycle time etc. to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance and team agility.
  • Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
  • Facilitate the Scrum and/or Kanban Agile ceremonies for the teams.
  • Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers.
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ Financial services/Banking industry experience
  • 4+ years of JIRA experience
  • Must be scrum master certified, and a certified Agile Practitioner
  • 4+ years of Agile Transformation experience, having worked on Agile teams transforming from a Program to Product centric model.
  • 4+ years of experience conducting project meetings, presentations, and status reporting.
  • 4+ years as SM/KL for projects with Commercial Off The Shelf(COTS) applications as the underlying tech solution involving configuration updates across varied data sets
  • Ability to prepare and present senior level communications.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytic skills.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher

Desied Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of hands-on JIRA Align experience
  • Legal Technology or related staff group business functional experience as a SM
  • Prior Wells Fargo experience (preferred)

Job Expectations:

  • Hybrid working. Must work from authorized Wells Fargo Office

Pay Range

$87,700 0 $155,900.00 Annual
