Legal Analyst

We are looking for a legal administrator to coordinate and perform day to day tasks for our company’s legal department. Our legal department is comprised of a variety of teams that oversee the areas of legal and commercial function, litigation, compliance, import/export and customer contracts. As a legal administrator, your job duties will include a variety of organizational tasks, including accounting and budgeting projects, research projects, compilation of reports, overseeing internal workflows and procedures, and managing a variety of legal and compliance related projects. Your responsibilities may also include a variety of administrative tasks, including organizing and maintaining files and contracts. Your work will ensure that the legal department operates smoothly and efficiently, so our teams can focus on their efforts on project workload and interactions with company business units.

Key Responsibilities 

  •  Support and manage various day to day activities to ensure optimum performance and workflow of various teams within the legal department; 
  •  Learn specific department processes, procedures and workflows; 
  •  Oversee special projects assigned by, and under the general guidance of our attorneys, paralegal, and managers ; 
  •  Manage legal invoices and other departmental accounting functions ; 
  •  Coordinate and assist in the completion of compliance questionnaires; 
  •  Organize, input and report new and historical data in departmental databases; 
  •  Coordinate, setup and prepare for monthly patent review committee; 
  •  Oversee records retention policy and requests for archiving and requesting documents; 
  •  Assist with administrative tasks related to litigation matters. 
  • You must be able to show evidence of your prior success with: 
  •  Business process refinement and systems management; 
  •  Systems management to ensure matters are handed appropriately so that business needs are met, legal & ethical requirements are met, and clients receive excellent service; 
  •  Management of legal and compliance projects and technology systems. 


  •  5+ years working with law firm/in-house legal strongly preferred 
  •  Office management background strongly preferred or in-house legal practice 
  •  Strong attention to detail 
  •  Microsoft Office power user (facility with all basic and many advanced features of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 
  •  Experience with SAP Accounting tool preferred 
  •  Adept at multi-tasking various projects and seeing things through to completion 
  •  Experience working with electronic records and filing systems 
  •  Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English 
  •  Experience with Microsoft SharePoint strongly preferred 
  •  Experience with information governance and records management preferred 
  •  Ability to sort through complex user requirements to bring them to simple form
