About the role:

  • Our team is growing! RA&A’s NYC Office is looking for an energetic project coordinator to support with a wide variety of tasks and deliverables.
  • We are a fast-paced, dynamic, and global company, advising heads of state, ministers, CEOs, and institutional leaders on strategic communications initiatives. The Project Management teams is responsible for managing multiple teams in NYC, including the RA&A Lab, the community team, designers, and project directors. We curate thought leadership, develop programs for summits and conferences, cultivate relationships with new business prospects, create business development pitches, and more.
  • The right person for this role will be globally minded and culturally competent, eager to learn and gain exposure to a wide variety of clients and projects around the world, able to multitask and find solutions to complex problems, and comfortable working on both detailed tasks and big picture research.
  • Our clients and the work that we do is often conducted under tight deadlines, and all staff are expected to thrive in these conditions


Scope of work:

  • Support Project and Program Directors on all aspects of project execution, business development, and team management.
  • Conceptualize and draft business development documents with analytical and logistical aspects
  • Conduct ad hoc research and memos on key global issues and industry topics
  • Coordinate across teams and offices to follow-up on team deliverables, ensuring executive team initiatives and goals are achieved
  • Coordinate executive meetings, travel, and other logistics support
  • Manage communications with internal teams and external clients and vendors


Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent English, both written and oral. Additional language skills are a plus, especially French or Arabic
  • Knowledge and interest in global issues, emerging market economies, business & investment, geopolitics, social issues (health, education, sustainability, etc.) and beyond
  • Prior experience traveling or working in a variety of regions. Experience working in the Middle East a plus
  • Excellent writing and research skills
  • Excellent skills in PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, PDF and other collaborative and creative working apps
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to draft clear and concise presentations in English
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work odd and long hours when required (due to working with individuals and clients across different time zones)


Compensation: To be negotiated based on experience and background. (55K-70k annual)

Travel: Up to 30%
