About the role

We are looking for a Vice President of Sales to help drive our next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will build a high-performing team with the processes we need to be successful. We have product-market fit, industry-leading retention and a scalable offering. Now we need the right person to help us reach the next level.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Lead the sales strategy. Own and drive revenue growth from new enterprise logo acquisition and existing customer expansion across all regions.
  • Hire, manage, mentor and coach a world-class enterprise sales team growing from 2 to 20.
  • Roll up your sleeves to create and implement a successful enterprise sales playbook. Create operating efficiencies, key metrics, KPI, and communication processes for the organization.
  • Consistently manage and maintain a high-quality pipeline to meet or exceed the revenue plan.
  • Hit quarterly and annual ARR and revenue targets.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly updates on sales progress and pipeline.
  • Develop a winning culture that supports high-energy interaction, responsiveness, attentiveness and high integrity.
  • Help the sales team close deals by strategizing and closing key deals with them.  
  • Fully understand the Pitchly business, the opportunities in front of it, and the market dynamics that govern it to identify growth opportunities within enterprise customers.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Customer Success to provide and gather insights on customer requirements and develop messaging appropriate for our markets.
  • Optimize working relationship with Marketing with the goal of maximizing revenue per lead.

About you

  • Seasoned sales management professional with 7+ years of successful sales management experience.
  • Exceptional enterprise sales leader with a strong track record of delivering results in a growth company environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing winning teams, successful sales methodology and operational management discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience selling enterprise B2B SaaS with deal sizes of $50K to $100K ACV, ideally to professional services organizations. This is a consultative, complex, business-line sales process. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading an SDR/BDR outbound sales organization to create pipeline, map account hierarchy and run account-based sales activities. 
  • Strong track record as a development-oriented leader who can teach, transfer knowledge, and drive results from others.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and reporting tools with a track record of utilizing data and analytics to solve problems and optimize sales strategies.
  • Strong and collaborative communication skills with the ability to work across numerous internal and external stakeholder groups, and a history of partnering with senior executives. 
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
