As a high-growth technology company with a Marketing function that is in its infancy, we are looking for an absolute gun to take our business to the next level. At Checkbox you will be owning the entire marketing function and will be accountable for the aggressive generation and nurture of leads into sales opportunities. Your areas of responsibility will cover a broad range of areas including content, SEO, paid search, paid socials, re-targeting, PPC channels, landing pages, website management, online and offline events, sponsorships, marketing automation, budgeting and strategy.

Although there is a lot to achieve and big goals that will be set, you will be provided limited resources and a small Junior Marketing team, so you should be comfortable with getting your hands dirty implementing the strategy at a tactical level if need be.

In this role, you will be driving the overall direction of the function, sitting on the Management Team and reporting directly to the CEO. A proven track record in leading a marketing team in a high growth technology business and having a clear vision for how to grow a marketing function from “1 to 10” with 10x velocity is a must.

In this position, you will:

+ Be responsible for reporting on KPIs to the Management Team, with a focus on high quality lead generation and conversion to sales qualified leads (SQL).

+ Formulate and own the Checkbox marketing strategy which currently is targeted at high contract value enterprise customers.

+ Be responsible for the content, visual design, information architecture, and effectiveness of the Checkbox website, including SEO.

+ Execute highly optimised and high impact campaigns across paid digital marketing channels such as PPC platforms, SEM, and paid socials.

+ Work with HubSpot CRM as a marketing automation platform to execute workflows, email marketing, lead scoring, CTAs and landing pages.

+ Deliver a content strategy which includes nurturing tracks, blogs, white papers etc. to build brand trust and lead nurturing.

+ Deliver on the PR strategy by creating a steady stream of media releases and newsworthy publications in order to position Checkbox as the leading global no code platform in our segment.

+ Deliver on the social media strategy across key platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter.

+ Support the conversion of MQLs to sales opportunities by creating marketing and sales enablement collateral such as infographics, brochures, banners and posters.

+ Drive exponential awareness of the brand and high quality leads through the sponsorship and organisation of both digital and offline events.


This is an experienced role and the ideal candidate would exhibit the following:


+ At least 3 years of experience marketing enterprise software

+ Strong reporting capabilities on key KPIs at a management level and make data-driven decisions and strategies

+ Experienced managing a high performing, fast-paced marketing team

Understands the entire spectrum of digital and offline marketing with the level of proficiency to formulate strong strategies across all channels and solve problems effectively

+ You have a growth mindset and are committed to your ongoing professional growth

+ Have had experience marketing the same product to multiple different customer segments and international geographies

+ Experience with marketing a no/low code or process automation platform

+ Hands on ability to execute on marketing tasks in the event of support the team
