We are currently seeking a new Performance Marketing Manager to join our Growth Marketing Team in Burnaby, Calgary or Toronto. This role is also available to candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec.

Who you are:

Clio is looking for a Performance Marketing manager that will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of paid channel campaigns particularly in programmatic marketing as well as in paid search. This is a “tactical role” with some strategic elements; the successful candidate will be hands-on, in the platform, running campaigns day to day. You will leverage your world class marketing skills to generate incremental growth and revenue from your programs. You will also rely on your digital marketing acumen to provide key insights that will drive actions to ensure growth targets are met on schedule and efficiently.

What you’ll work on:

  • Management and execution of ad operations (tagging, tracking, buying, trafficking, reporting) for programmatic media using DSPs and other platforms
  • Proactively troubleshoot for any technical issues that could impact the smooth delivery of campaigns (pre-launch and in market).
  • Maintain and manage budgets according to forecasts
  • Work with internal teams to coordinate delivery of creative assets needed for media campaigns. 
  • Contribute to the day to day campaign management of SEM campaigns including bid adjustments, keyword auditing, keyword gap analysis, management of budgets, etc. 
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop the strategy for programmatic and display media which integrates with other channels (SEM, SEO, Display, Brand) to form a cohesive media plan. 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to create accurate forecasts for budget and performance.
  • Contribute to the development of the marketing program roadmap to drive growth and evolution of marketing campaigns.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create audience segments (using platform / CDP) to be used across all paid channels.  
  • Leverage reporting tools (DSP platforms, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Looker) to measure and evaluate performance against KPIs and deliver on-time reports with key insights and actions.  
  • Provide updates on performance of creative ads to the creative teams, while provided updates on emerging trends and best practices.
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to explain the impact of performance and ensure buy in throughout the life of the campaign.  

What you may have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in digital marketing with particular focus in an execution-related role such as Ad Ops and Paid Search. 
  • Expert level understanding of the digital landscape including key DSP platforms such as DV360 / StackAdapt and Google Analytics 360.
  • Experience buying premium inventory for digital ads and video using a DSP
  • Impeccable attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem solving skills 
  • A team player that will add to the outstanding culture at Clio. 

Serious bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working with other digital marketing channels such as paid social, radio, OOH
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Asana / Jira / Wrike
  • Experience working in a B2B environment with solid understanding of the Lead Generation to Sales process. 
  • Understanding of SEM platforms with hands-on experience using AdWords / Bing Editor.
