The role, experience, responsibility, and impact
This is an opportunity to join a funded startup as the first engineer. You will work closely with the founders and CTO to build compliance solutions for our customers. We want to be best in our niche. This means we want to focus on storing sensitive data as securely as possible and optimising the compliance process for firms and their customers.
Your level of experience
The role is suitable for anyone with a few years of experience as a web developer. You could be anything from a medior ready for the next challenge, or a senior developer who has seen it all. The most important thing is that you have fun building products and like working in an environment of prototyping and experimentation.
Our tech stack, and what you’ll work on
We supply law firms in the Netherlands with our compliance solutions. Our product is a large form with question trees, dynamic enough to change with new regulations. With a focus on security and audit trails.
We’re growing quickly and need a software development team to support this. We are building a new version of our software and will be using Ruby on Rails with React and Bootstrap.
You will be working on building this new version of the product together with the CTO.
You will be working in a small team in the following areas:
Developing new features
Reglab is far from finished and we’re constantly adding features to make it better fit the needs of our market. You will be working with the CTO and the business owners to build and roll out new features.
Improving existing features
We want all of our features to work smoothly out of the box, and be powerful for all kinds of use cases. This is why we regularly upgrade existing features.
Guarding the quality of our codebase
A good quality codebase is important for developers and it should be a pleasure to work on it. It will be your responsibility to maintain and improve its quality.
