What we are looking for

We are looking for a Country Manager that will ensure the successful establishment of PocketLaw in the UK. Together with our lead executives, you will be responsible for the launch, and later on, day-to-day operations, of the UK team.

 

What you will do: 

Secure our position as the #1 B2B digital platform and partner for legal services in the UK, by:

  • Setting, implementing and continuously reviewing our go to market strategy for the UK
  • Building and leading a strong team of best in class people across legal, sales & marketing
  • Securing strategic partnerships, both for product as well as sales and marketing purposes
  • Supporting customer success and making sure existing customers are satisfied with our services
  • Continuously suggesting improvements and development of our product to ensure relevance

 

Who you are:

For this role, we are looking for someone who is a leader, with an entrepreneurial background (or mindset) and an appetite for change, rather than a law degree (although both knowledge of and a network in the legal world is a plus!). 

More specifically, we would like you to have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience - could be at a business development unit, a reputable law firm, or a startup (plus for legal tech)
  • Strong track record of establishing and leading larger projects - could be with larger transactions, or early days at a startup / growth company
  • Solid experience of recruiting and leading people with different backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills and time management

 

What would make you stand out:

  • Experience of working in a high-growth, owner-operated or venture capital backed business and/or experience of working in multinational companies or organisations; 
  • Personal network of lawyers, in-house counsels and other executives in the UK; and
  • Knowledge, experience and network in the legal tech market in the UK
