Legatics is looking for a high-performing and ambitious head of marketing to lead on the planning and execution of its marketing activities. This role is London-based and reports directly into the Chief Commercial Officer.​

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping the marketing strategies for Legatics and help to ensure that current and prospective customers know and love our brand.

The role is on a remote-first basis, moving to remote-first with 1-2 compulsory days per week in a central London location as we return to office working.

  

What you would be doing:

  • Develop the marketing strategy for the company in line with the company’s objectives;
  • Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects;
  • Hire and manage marketing team (currently two open positions: content strategist and marketing specialist);
  • Provide guidance and feedback to marketing juniors;
  • Take overall responsibility for the company’s brand and corporate identity, ensuring this is consistently reflected in all our materials and across all our marketing channels;
  • Manage and co-ordinate the company’s marketing initiatives across all marketing channels (including website, social media, SEO, PPC, content marketing, email marketing, events and webinars);
  • Work with a graphic design agency to create marketing collateral templates;
  • Continually improve on website design;
  • Create and publish marketing material in line with the marketing strategy;
  • Manage our relationships with external marketing, PR and design agencies;
  • Identify relevant industry awards and opportunities for team members to attend and present at;
  • Maintain relationships with, and a register of, key industry journalist contacts;
  • Define team KPIs and other marketing measurables and report on them to the leadership and wider team;
  • Present any relevant information to senior management and the company as a whole; and
  • Perform any administrative duties, as required;

What we need from you: 

  • A right to work in the UK (unfortunately, we are not in a position to support visa sponsorship at this stage);
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience working within a marketing agency or in an in-house marketing function;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Experience setting and managing a marketing budget;
  • A keen eye for good design, desktop publishing and corporate styles;
  • To be analytical and creative;
  • To have high standards of integrity and trust;
  • To be self-motivated and able to manage projects successfully with limited oversight; and
  • To have strong written communication, listening and presentation skills.

Bonus points for the following (but do not worry if not, these are not essential)​

  • Experience assisting with the marketing efforts for a B2B enterprise SaaS company (extra bonus points if this was a start-up or scale-up);
  • Experience marketing to lawyers;
  • High-quality desktop publishing and design skills;
  • Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns and digital tools; and
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
